慈悲如大雨般灑在每個人的身上，此時如果你們頭上撐著一把傘，你們將不會被淋濕。錯在大雨嗎？當然不是。錯在你們的手及手中之虛榮之傘；這就是為何你們沒有被祂的慈悲恩典所淋濕。祂並沒有錯。那麼，該怎麼辦？你們應移開頭上那把虛榮之傘，這樣就會被淋濕，被祂無所不在的慈悲恩典淋得濕透。

There is a shower, a heavy shower of compassion on each and everybody, but if during that shower you hold an umbrella over your head, you won't be drenched. So is the fault that of the shower? Certainly not. The fault is with your hand and with your umbrella of vanity; and that is why you are not drenched by that compassion, by that krpa′. He is not at fault. Then what are you to do? You are to remove that umbrella of vanity from your head, and then and there you will be drenched, fully drenched, by His universal compassion.
